FOR SALE: Undoubtedly the MOST rare of all Hurlstone's works. Whether or not it is his largest work, I have no idea, but I would be very interested to know if ANY of his other works have patches in the canvas and a hand written guarantee on the back of the canvas.
The canvas frame is 30"x 40".

This work should be hung on a wall with an accompanying photo of the note that Hurlstone wrote.
Yes, there are a few places where the paint has chipped off the canvas. Whether or not this 'defect' should be corrected...I leave to the art world to decide.

Yes, there are visible water stains on the back....but does that really matter????
